Pricing Analyst

Position Overview

This pricing analyst position provides an opportunity to impact the success of the business by managing a portfolio of ticket inventory, run analysis on venues and teams, and reviewing previous sales data and company revenue to decide on a market price range for tickets based on their findings.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage a portfolio of teams and venue to maximize revenue 
  • Analyze pricing data from previous sales trends and competitors 
  • Identify marketing strategies to maximize profits
  • Develop measurement tools to identify changing market trends
  • Identify appropriate sales and clearance prices to increase customer traffic
  • Create reports reflecting metrics and pricing strategies 
  • Compare sales trends to previous periods and determine the cause for increase or decrease
  • Develop a knowledge of venues, regions, trends, and pricing strategies

Abilities and Skills

  • Proven organizational skills and time management
  • Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Strong PC skills, including the ability to learn and use multiple complex systems 
  • A passion for sports and the entertainment industry
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field with a 3.0 GPA or above preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in pricing analytics, ticket sales, or the sports and entertainment industry

Compensation

$50,000/year base + bonus potential
